Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera was a trailblazer in Regional Mexican music. As one of the few female artists in the predominantly male genre, she paved the way for Mexican female artists in banda and became a role model for Latinas in our community through her resilience and strength. The late singer made history multiple times throughout her career, a testament to her prowess and star quality. Rivera became the first Regional Mexican music artist to sell out the Crypto.com Arena, then known as the Staples Center. She was also the first artist to sell out back-to-back nights at the Peacock Theater (formerly known as the Nokia Theatre.
