Coco 2 is officially on! Disney’s 2017 film “Coco” is one of the most beloved films for its authentic depiction of Dia de Los Muertos and Mexican culture. Today Disney announced that “Coco 2” is in the early stages of development at Pixar Animation Studios and is set to be released in 2029. The film centers around 12-year-old Miguel as he goes on a quest to meet his great-grandfather in the Land of the Dead after he’s accidentally transported there.
