Dalina Soto (your.latina.nutritionist) is a registered dietitian and author whose new book, “The Latina Anti-Diet” is a guide to health while also celebrating our cultural cuisine. As a first generation Dominican, she grew up enjoying foods like mangú and arroz con habichuelas while also being exposed to diet culture in the U.S. Through her studies and her work as a registered dietitian, she’s come to recognize what’s missing when it comes to conversations around health is the culture, specifically BIPOC representation.
