Celebrating La Reina de Salsa! 💃🏾 Celia Cruz is one of the most well-known Afro-Latinas in the world and is beloved throughout Latin America and the U.S. not only for being the Queen of Salsa, but also for being a true pioneer of Afro-Latinidad in entertainment worldwide. Throughout her 60 years as a legendary performer, she recorded more than 80 albums, earned 23 gold records, won three Grammy Awards and four Latin Grammy Awards, and earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and received the National Medal of Arts. Additionally, she was inducted into the Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame and International Latin Music Hall of Fame.
