These Latinx celebrities and musicians are showing up for their comunidad 🙌 As of January 7, wildfires have completely devastated the greater Los Angeles area, displaced tens of thousands of people, and killed at least 24 people. In response, Latinx celebs including iconic Mexican rock band Maná, Eva Longoria, Peso Pluma, Fuerza Regida, and Chiquis Rivera have shown up for the Los Angeles community by dedicating their time, money, and resources. In a recent post she made to Instagram, Eva Longoria announced that she would helping those affected by the fires: “My heart breaks for the City of LA and the devastating fires that have affected so many lives. I’m personally matching $50k to @thisisabouthumanity’s efforts to support frontline essential workers, farm workers, day laborers and families impacted by these wildfires.
