Las Posadas are a tradition primarily celebrated from December 16th through Nochebuena. This procession reenacts Mary and Joseph's journey searching for shelter for Jesus to be born filled with villancicos, readings from scripture and a celebration shortly after. Each year, people in Mexico, the U.S. and parts of Latin America come together to welcome the holiday season through this tradition.
