The beloved magical realism novel “One Hundred Years of Solitude” written by legendary Colombian author Gabriel García Márquez is now a mini-series on Netflix which adapted the story into a 16-episode series with the first half released on Dec. 11. The iconic 1967 novel, considered one of the greatest novels of all time, follows the multi-generational story of the Buendía family as they navigate love, loss, war, and a curse that condemns them to 100 years of solitude.
