We love to see young Latinas make history ✨ Mexican goalkeeper Tabatha Rivas debuted with the professional women’s soccer club Pumas MX Femenil in the match against Necaxa on November 2, becoming the first deaf soccer player to play in Liga MX Femenil and second deaf professional women’s soccer player in the world. Born in Mexico City, the 17-year-old soccer player opened up about her experience in Liga MX Femenil a couple years ago in an interview: “It has been the best experience of my life, although when I started it, it was a little difficult to communicate with my teammates and teachers, but little by little I got used to it. My mother is always proud of me, she encourages me, gives me advice, and tells me not to be embarrassed to talk to them.” #TabathaRivas #Mexicana #LatinaPower #MexicoCity #LigaMX #LigaMXFemenil #PumasMX #PumasMXFemenil #DeafAthlete #DeafLatina #ClubUniversidadNacional #Poderosa #HistoryMade #HLOG
