✨Latinas shine in STEM even though there is still a lot of progress that needs to be made. November 8 marks National STEM/STEAM Day, a day to recognize the importance of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics education and encourage students to pursue careers in these fields. Within the Latinx community, despite making up a significant part of the labor force, Latinxs are still underrepresented in STEM education and careers.
