The only and only icon Rita Moreno was honored on Saturday, October 19th at the 4th Annual Academy Museum Gala when she received the Icon Award for her legacy in the entertainment industry. At the fundraiser event, Moreno was presented the Icon award by American filmmaker Steven Spielberg, who directed and worked with Moreno in the 2021 “West Side Story” film adaptation.
