Latinas often suffer in silence when it comes to intimate partner abuse and that needs to stop. Domestic Violence Awareness Month is a time to raise awareness about the prevalence of domestic violence and highlight the resources available to help. About 1 in 3 Latinas will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime, a statistic that makes starting conversations about domestic violence that much more important.
