On Latina Equal Pay Day, it’s important to remember our worth and advocate for ourselves 💵 LEPD symbolizes how far into the year Latinas must work to earn what white, non-Latino men earned in the previous year, meaning it takes Latinas about two years to make what white, non-Latino men make in a year. Latinas who work full-time, year-round only make about 58 cents for every dollar that a white, non-Latino man makes. This places us second-to-last in gender pay disparities with Native Women’s Equal Pay Day on November 21.
