Last night, a yacht watching the fountain show near Banpo Bridge on the Han River suddenly exploded. Thankfully, everyone on board jumped into the water right after the blast and was quickly rescued by a passing boat. Aside from minor injuries, there were no fatalities. Police believe the fire started due to an engine problem on the 20-year-old yacht. The Seoul city government is also checking for possible fuel leakage and is set to take measures to prevent any oil from spreading.
