A 10-meter-long mysterious creature was spotted swimming through the Han River 👀🌊
YouTuber “Jungdam Story” shared footage he captured while night fishing near Yeouido, showing a strange object repeatedly surfacing and submerging over a 20-minute span.
He described it as around 10 meters long, thicker than a human, and clearly moving — not drifting. “It wasn’t raining, so I doubt it was just debris,” he said. “I’ve been fishing for decades, and I’ve never seen anything like this.”
Still, people are divided — especially after a similar sighting 3 years ago turned out to be… just a buoy.
But this time, the buzz is real — and it’s even brought back talk of Bong Joon-ho’s The Host, which the director once said was inspired by his own childhood moment:
“I saw something black climb up a bridge pillar and fall into the Han River. It’s ture. It really happened.”
So… is it just another false alarm? Or did something actually rise from the Han river?
