Scottish actor Alan Cumming has said it’s an “honour” to join Russell T Davies’ new queer series ‘Tip Toe’.
“The best things in life are worth waiting for, and the best people. Russell T Davies and I have been trying to work together for over 20 years. I don’t say this lightly, but this is truly an honor,” the actor told Q News.
In the five-part series, Cumming will play Leo, the funny and dynamic owner of a bar called Spit & Polish in Manchester’s Gay Village.
‘Doctor Who’ showrunner and head writer Russell T Davies, creator of ‘Queer as Folk’ and ‘It’s A Sin’, is at the helm of the project, which is currently in production.
