Tracy Beaker creator Dame Jacqueline Wilson is turning up the heat in her 70s Aged 79, the gay author and former Children’s Laureate has written ‘Picture Imperfect’, a mature follow-up to her YA book, ‘The Illustrated Mum’. The book follows struggling tattoo artist, Dolphin, 33, as she struggles to balance her love life with family commitments. Speaking to IrelandLive about writing spicy scenes for the novel, Dame Jacqueline said: “I have to forget that everybody who is a friend of mine or family might be going to read it, because otherwise you get tremendously hot under the collar and embarrassed about it.
