I purchased this huge, beautiful 10ft tall fig tree off marketplace in March, and it did not do well with the 20 minute drive from their house to mine. It lost all its leaves and was basically a huge stick in our house for a few months. It finally started to come back to life and has been pushing out new gorgeous leaves all summer just around the tops. I’m moving from Ab to Ucluelet bc on Oct 1 and I’m so torn about what to do. It’s an 19 hour drive and I can’t imagine the plant is going to enjoy it, plus once I get there the sun is going to be out a lot less which isn’t going to help. Should I a.) try and move it as is and hope for the best B.) cut it down significantly and propagate the cuttings, giving more chance for some of the plants to live C.) leave it with my house I’m renting out for a year if the tenants are okay with it and hope it keeps growing back fuller with the bright light it receives here. #fiddleleaffig #figtree #plant #planttok #plantrescue
