We are deeply grateful for the incredible response to Bow Seat’s 2025 True Blue Fellowship. This year, we received 358 applications representing 63 countries, including 51 low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Of these, 282 applicants (79%) came from LMICs, and 139 applicants (39%) identified as Indigenous, reflecting the diverse voices and perspectives shaping ocean and climate leadership worldwide. Applications are now under careful review. Finalists will be notified in early November, and we look forward to sharing the inspiring cohort of fellows soon. The True Blue Fellowship offers young changemakers funding, mentorship, and community to launch or grow projects that use creativity, storytelling, and advocacy to advance environmental justice.
