9/1/25: A pile of moldy oranges (1 peach) and a desire to make something🍊 - On September 1st, I found myself staring at a few moldy oranges on my counter and couldn’t stop thinking about them. First, why had I kept them this long? Second, the textures, the patterns of decay, the way time leaves its trace — all of it felt like material waiting to be transformed. I brought them into the studio. It’s a reminder that inspiration doesn’t have to be clean, pristine, or obvious.
