San Diegans and people visiting from other US cities gathered to protest the Trump Administration and its actions at the Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego for the Good Trouble Lives On John Lewis Memorial Protest on July 17, 2025. The protest was from 5-8 PM, there were speakers, including music, poetry, and calls for action in the park. Along Harbor Drive, musicians played and people stood waving signs and flags, waving at those going by. Most reactions from drivers were positive. These photos are from later in the protest around 7 PM after much of the crowd had left.
