Flying Saucer, Jacumba/Ocotillo, California, 2015. I don't know what everyone else in the US and Canada is getting excited about, we've been able to see UFOs just east of San Diego for years. 😂 Coyote's Flying Saucer Retrieval and Repair, an allegorical roadside attraction, has been open since at least 2015, just off the 8 as you go out of the mountains and down into the Imperial Valley, on the road that leads to/from the Desert View Tower. Photographed in 2015 as we headed east to New Mexico and then Colorado. A day or two later, I saw in the far distance what look like an injured weather balloon limping its way low to ground over mostly farmland, but we did not have time to explore.
