First Day of the La Mesa vaccine super station. My mom got her first of two Pfizer vaccine shots, along with more than a thousand other people, at the first day of the La Mesa Grossmont Center vaccine super station in San Diego County. The line went quickly, but if you need help standing or have a hard time walking, you should park on the mall side of Walmart, near the old Cost Plus (same side of the mall as Macy's). There are places to lean, but the line moves quickly so if you have a walker or cane, it's a help. The exit is through the food court, and there's a small space to pick people up if walking is a challenge. They also have wheelchairs if you need one, ask a volunteer and they can help make it happen. Bring photo ID and proof of your appointment (showing the confirmation email on your phone is fine for proof of appointment). My mom was in to the line and out of the post-vaccine waiting room in about 30 minutes, which included the 15 minute post-vaccine wait. Thanks to everyon...
