Power to the People. Vote. San Diego, California. Your vote, your individual vote, has power. If it didn't have so much power, why would today's Republicans use so many government and individual resources trying to suppress it? Voter suppression through keeping people from registering, closing polling places, limiting voting hours, limiting which votes can be counted, challenging non-material defects to a ballot, slowing the mail, and encouraging vigilante individuals to show up and intimidate people at polling places. This type of voter suppression depresses the turnout of voters of all political beliefs, not just the ones Republicans have spent 40 years alienating through policy decisions.
