RIP to the OG San Diego State University sports photographer, Ernie Anderson. Ernie began photographing SDSU sports in the late 1960s when he was a student, and didn't stop until illness forced him to. He photographed every generation of goaztecs athletes and coaches during that time, and blazed the trail for action sports photography at SDSU. While his photo legacy will live on, so will the memory and impact of his many kindnesses. This photo was taken on September 1, 2017 when he was photographing sdsu_womens_soccer on the Sports Deck while a glorious late summer sunset broke out behind the game action.
