Cal-Urban Sunset, December 28, 2018. This growing male cypress is in a space between two houses on the top of a short hill in a Cal-urban neighborhood on the outskirts of the City of San Diego. This is a spot I visit occasionally because I like the vertical of the house and cypress contrasted against the low-rise sprawl of San Diego. The lights in the distance are a few miles away.
