Table Mountain National Park, South Africa, 2010 #WorldCup, July 2010. I spent a few days in Cape Town at the end of my time in South Africa. I took a half-day guided tour in a van with a bunch of other World Cup fans from several different countries, and we stopped for this lovely view. This might have been the morning after the late night of social drinking with a new friend at the bed and breakfast, and the all-male ESPN Brazil camera crew she'd met earlier in the day (who were super nice). Travel by yourself, you never know who you'll meet, or for whom you'll end up chaperoning.
