Orange You Glad to See Me. Cameroon vs Netherlands, 2010 #WorldCup, June 24, 2010, Cape Town, South Africa. Netherlands fans, dressed in bright orange, dominated the visuals in a group stage game versus Cameroon at Cape Town Stadium. The stadium photographs beautifully in the evenings and at night. Although you can’t tell from this photo, Table Mountain provides a beautiful backdrop for day and afternoon games. The day before this game, I had been in Pretoria for USA v Algeria, my 6th game in 7 days, returned to Johannesburg to sleep, then flew to Cape Town for the day. Those days were so chaotic, I don’t remember if I managed to catch the last flight out of Cape Town, or if I spent the night in the airport, editing and napping, before flying back to Johannesburg on the first flight out. Was that the night I had Nando’s for dinner?
