Columbia, MO - 9/6/2025 - The University of Missouri welcomed the University of Kansas for the renewal of the Border War Rivalry for the first time since 2011, and the first time in Columbia since 2005. Both Missouri and Kansas entered the game unbeaten. Kansas was 2-0 and Missouri was 1-0. Missouri would go on to win 42-31. The sold out Farout Field was rocking early in the first half as Ahmad Hardy would run it in from 32 yards out to give Missouri a 6-0 lead. Kansas would go on to score 21 unanswered points, including a fumble recovery for a touchdown, this would end the 1st quarter 21-6 Kansas.
