If you’re travelling to France soon - this is for you. Air traffic controllers are set to strike across France in September. The 24 hour strike will take place from early on the 18th September until the following morning. The union organising the strike represents roughly 60% of all air traffic controllers in France, so if strikes do go ahead you can expect widespread disruption, delays and possibly cancellations. Flights going to or from France will potentially be disrupted, as well as those crossing French airspace, such as routes to or from Spain, Italy and the UK. Information about cancellations and delays is expected to be released by France’s Civil Aviation Authority two days before the strike. As always, it’s important to check ahead before you travel and contact your airline if you have any questions. #TravelNews #TravelUpdates #EuropeanTravel
