“That’s the promise we celebrate in this Mass of the Holy Spirit – that we are never too young (or too old), never too small or inexperienced to be called by God. God’s Spirit is already alive in you.” That was part of the homily of President Fr. David Ciancimino, S.J., as he celebrated our Mass of the Holy Spirit before our entire school community in Scaccia Auditorium. The Mass – a Jesuit school tradition for centuries – one in which our community gathers to thank God and to seek the guidance and wisdom of the Holy Spirit for the new school year. Spotlighted during the Mass were Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati, two Jesuit-educated late young Italians who were canonized on Sunday. You can read Fr.
