Latinos took the stage and showed out last night at the 2025 MTV VMAs. Boricua icon Ricky Martin proved that he’s still got it with a bilingual medley of his greatest hits including “Livin’ La Vida Loca,” “and “The Cup of Life.” The 53-year-old Latin crossover singer then made VMAs history when he was presented with the inaugural Latin Icon Award, and he thanked his fans for their support through the years in his speech and dedicated the award to his kids: Thank you so much because its been 40 years—I started when I was a baby—working, and we’re still here,” Martin said in his speech. “We just want to unite countries.
