Lynda has consistently advocated for Latina representation in entertainment throughout her career and was even named Hispanic Woman of the Year in 1983 by the Hispanic Women's Council of Los Angeles.⁠ ⁠ Best known as the star of the live-action television series Wonder Woman which ran from 1975-1979, Lynda is the granddaughter of Mexican immigrants, a fact she has shared with pride.
