Instead of a traditional setup, we invited talent, directors and producers alike to lean into the roles they’re embodying on screen, and personalities, and just have fun with us. Shot in high-contrast black and white, the portraits are nod to a timeless, almost archival aesthetic—given that we’re celebrating both TIFF’s 50th and View the VIBE’s 15th—complete with a darker setting, light play, and a signature twist: our photographer merzetti is legally colour blind, which only made the results even more striking.
