Struck by Lightning A friend of mine recently asked me, “Do you ever take photos of Austin?” It took me a moment to realize that it has actually been a really long time since I’ve taken a photo of the Austin skyline. Living here for so long has kind of numbed to the magic of this city. Thankfully that friend’s simple question inspired me to get out and try to capture Austin like I haven’t before. The storm this evening was the perfect opportunity to expand my creativity and I couldn’t be happier with the result. To the insane guy standing in the pouring rain somewhere in Zilker nearby me, thanks for shouting WHOOHOOO!!! for every bolt of lightning.
