Colorado earned a commanding 31-7 victory over Delaware Saturday at Folsom Field, powered by a breakout performance from Ryan Staub. The redshirt freshman quarterback entered the game with 46 seconds left in the first half and delivered immediately, engineering a flawless two minute drill capped by a 23 yard conversion on third and 10 and a 20 yard touchdown pass to DeKalon Taylor with just nine seconds remaining in the half. Staub wasn’t done. On the first possession of the second half, he checked into a deep route at the line of scrimmage and delivered a 71 yard touchdown strike to Sincere Brown, the second longest passing touchdown of the Coach Prime era. Less than two minutes of game time turned a tight contest into a 24-7 Colorado lead.
