Coach Rhule: "I got some emails from angry people that we didn't punt on the last play of the game." Saturday vs. Akron Huskers didn't punt once in their 68-0 win. The last time they didn't have a punt in a game: 2000 vs. Kansas Why are people mad? They wanted to see freshman Australian punter Archie Wilson in Lincoln for the first time. As a friendly reminder, he went globally viral over the summer talking about missing his family in Australia! His family was in attendance from Australia for this game! Yes, they didn't see him punt at Memorial Stadium, but they saw him punt live in KC! Fans who weren't in KC will have to wait for this week against Houston Christian. If you ask Archie and his family, though, they are okay with him not punting, as this means the offense is doing big things! #gobigred #huskers #cornhuskers #nebraskafootball #archiewilson #huskersfb #mattrhule
