LIONS SINK SAINTS ON THE ROAD: The jserra.girlstennis team took to the road on Tuesday and emerged victorious, as the Lions defeated the Crean Lutheran Saints, 14-4, in a nonleague match at Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine. The Lions improve to 8-2 on the season. JSerra’s victory was sparked by eight of nine set victories in doubles action. Sophomore Brookelyn Garcia and freshman Paisley Crutchfield won a 7-6 tiebreaker set, while also adding a 6-1 triumph. Junior Naomi Clarke and sophomore Milana Leffler posted wins of 6-0 and 6-3, while sophomores Julianna Johnson and Ava Levitanus recorded 6-3 and 6-3 wins. Senior Peyton Salas and sophomore Dylan Henderson (6-1), along with senior Caitlyn Davidson and freshman Angela Li (6-4) completed the Lions’ overwhelming tandems effort.
