When Casey and Byron bought their homestead in the redwoods, it was a bit of a fixer-upper—with abandoned bathrooms, overgrown trees, and plenty of wild space. But to them, it was full of promise. They worked hard to turn the property into a welcoming retreat for both their family and for campers, restoring the landscape and opening the site on Hipcamp to help fund their dream. Now, guests come from across the country—and even as far as Germany—to experience the beauty of their forest hideaway. “Sharing our little corner of the world has been a fun journey so far, and we can’t wait to see where it leads.” Thinking of hosting?
