September 11, 2001: 24 years later and we will never forget Today we honor and remember the victims & the first responders who sacrificed their lives Here are a few commemorations happening in NYC today & memorials you can visit: 🤍 The 9/11 Memorial & Museum 911memorial 24th Anniversary Commemoration will take place at the 9/11 Memorial Plaza from 8:30am-1pm. While the plaza will not be open to the public during the ceremony, you can watch it on TV or online. Note: the museum will be closed to the public all day and only open to family members. The Memorial will reopen to the public at 3pm 💙 The “Tribute in Light” features two blue beams of light shining up the Manhattan skyline can be viewed across the city from dusk to dawn.
