⚕️ Neurotic people may get a lot of flak, but in reality, neuroticism is linked to some very good traits—intelligence and creativity among them. A 2015 study by researchers from the University of Edinburgh and University College London suggested that there may be another, unexpected bonus to neuroticism: It may be linked to a longer life. But interestingly, the connection depends on what type of neurotic you are, and how healthy you say you are.⁠ ⁠ The team looked at two subtypes of neuroticism—anxious-tense and worried-vulnerable.
