One of the most important factors for replacing four lower incisors is arch shape. Dr Linc details how he had an immediate load bridge fail because he neglected this factor. It lead to excessive off-axis loading of the implants which then failed. The same happens if you do a six unit bridge using canines as abutments. This can be a very long-lasting treatment if the arch form is straight between the canines. But it can be very short lasting if the arch is curved and there is a big anterior cantilever. Sometimes making the lower incisors slightly crowded in the ceramic to avoid a curved arch or tiny little teeth. 🤩 you could learn skills and techniques like this in our Restorative Fellowship. The next intake closes September 30th. Comment 'RESTORATIVE' and we will send you the course brochure link. #restorativedentistry #prosthodontics #fmr #FRD #ripeglobal #occlusion
