How do you know you’re on the wrong path?
That was one of my theskindeep journaling questions this week and a question I’ve been thinking about a lot as I reflect on the transition out of school and what that means for me.
I’ve been in school my entire life—literally. Though I took two gap years between college and law school, I spent them as a teacher, so I’ve always been in a school in some way. And there’s a structure that comes with that. A clear delineation of seasons and cycles: an end of the semester, a vacation, an end of the school year. All of which have made goal setting and goal getting slightly easier to me.
I have no doubt in my ability to act on my ideas, plans, and instincts regardless of a timeline. But if anything this question was a reminder to pay attention and not get complacent.
