Today’s Black Girl Farm Adventures brought storms, seeds, and a whole lotta lessons. A wild bird crashed into my greenhouse. A tornado knocked down trees. We lost some of our beloved bees. But you know what didn’t break? Our spirit! My kids replanted their seedlings, each tending their own garden from seed to harvest. We turned grief into art, encasing our lost bees in resin to pass on a piece of the story. We visited schools to teach real-life lessons. And yes, the farm still looks a hot mess... but it’s our mess. Because even after the storm, we grow again.
