✨ Meet Gold Award Girl Scout, Leah Ertel ✨ Leah noticed a disconnect between generations and wanted to help young adults benefit from the wisdom of their elders. Inspired by her close relationship with her grandparents, she combined her passions for journalism and life skills to interview seniors from her community and Bayshire and Casa Aldea Retirement Homes. She then created a video for her graduating class of 2024 at Sage Creek High, highlighting topics like relationships, motivation, faith, patriotism, life advice, and more. Leah captured the impact among the students, which she shared back with the seniors to show them how much their voices matter.
