25 years ago, on September 17, 2000, Jimmy Rollins made his Major League debut in a game against the Marlins in Philadelphia. In his first at bat, he hit a triple. He ended up going 2-for-4 in that first game.
Rollins wore
#29 in the 2000 season, before switching to
#11 the following season.
In celebration of the anniversary of J-Roll’s debut for the Phillies, Mitchell & Ness has just dropped his first vintage Cooperstown Collection 2000 white pinstripes jersey and 2000 red BP jersey at
mitchellandness.com and mnessflagshipstore.
