I skated 3,000 miles thinking I’d finish smaller. Instead, I crossed the finish line with a body that didn’t look the way I expected. But the truth is, my body did exactly what it needed to carry me through the hardest challenge of my life.
I’m proud of that. Proud that I didn’t quit. Proud that I learned strength isn’t about shrinking. It’s about showing up, mile after mile.
I’ve got a few more health challenges ahead this year, and I can’t wait to share them with you. But the biggest victory has been learning to love myself exactly as I am.
