#TerrierTuesdays: Meet Yana Pathak (bu_cds‘26)! Originally from Seattle, Washington, Yana’s move across the country to BU was a big adjustment at first, but by meeting new people, she quickly found friends and a community she loves. Yana chose BU for its strong academics and countless opportunities. She is now a senior studying Data Science with a minor in Computer Science. After graduation, Yana hopes to pursue a career in tech, working on projects that have a meaningful impact. At BU, Yana served as president of Kappa Theta Pi (ktpbostonu), BU’s professional technology fraternity, during her junior year, an experience that she says shaped her college career and gave her a close-knit community. She’s also been a teaching assistant for a Spark! (bu_spark) class for the past year. Beyond campus, she’s gained experience as a Supply Chain Analytics Intern at HPE Juniper Networks and as a Data Science Intern at the American Institutes for Research.
