#BLPnews 🥺A heartbreaking tragedy shook Berwyn this week. Assistant Principal Nerissa Lee, 46, and her 76-year-old mother lost their lives just outside Lincoln Middle School. Authorities say Nerissa’s husband opened fire on their vehicle before turning the gun on himself. The school immediately went into lockdown to protect students and staff. Thankfully, no children were physically harmed. The building remained closed the following day to give the community space to grieve, and counselors will be available as classes resume. Nerissa is remembered as a dedicated educator who poured into her students every single day.
