Music legend Trevor Horn has shared his sadness about the current state of LGBTQ+ rights, such as the recent US military ban on trans people. In an interview with Metro, the producer behind gay anthem ‘Relax’ by Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Horn spoke about the current situation for the community. "I think it’s rather sad," Horn said. "So yeah, I get sad, I look at America, where they’ve kicked all the transgender people out of the military. Are transgender people not brave? Won’t they be good soldiers?" He also said that being LGBTQ+ isn't a choice, it's just who you are. "People don’t make a choice to be gay or LGBT, that’s how you’re born. I didn’t choose to be straight after looking at both things – it’s an instinct.
