Hunter Doohan, who plays Tyler Galpin in Netflix’s ‘Wednesday,’ told Attitude his own experiences of feeling different help explain why the show resonates so strongly with LGBTQ+ viewers.
“That just strikes to kind of the very core… being a gay person is feeling like an outsider from such a young age,” he shared, noting that Tim Burton’s work often captures that sense of ‘otherness.’
Doohan also spoke about the impact of queer representation on screen, saying, “It’s been nice just to see the impact firsthand sometimes… I think I’ve always felt it’s important… But it’s been nice to see that it is touching people.”
